My ASCII ART FAQ is about 43 K at this point. I really like keeping
it in one piece. This eliminates problems with people who don't or can't
deal with mulitple parts.
To help keep the FAQ from getting too big, I keep a companion file
called ASCII Art Resources. AAR is the same as the FAQ, but I put as
much detail and examples in it as I want.
AAR is about 100 K or so at this time. It is usually FTP'd by
readers. In the FAQ, if there is further info or examples or whatever, I
just point the reader to the AAR file.
It seems to work out nicely. The FAQ gives the necessary info to all
who care to read it (via 6 news groups, and fingering my account). The
AAR has more detailed info and examples for those who want to FTP it.
