Thanks... I could not think of an example. This is a good one.

FAQs were initially pronounced eff-A-cues by Jonathan and others in conferences
and conversations. I'll keep using the original pronunciation. I guess that
most are just trying to reduce acronyms to the fewest syllables. Next let's
try SMTP. :-)
