I've heard a third pronunciation once, 'fawk', which I dislike.

In fact, in any word in which the 'q' is not followed by a 'u'.
Of course, Usenet contains an abnormally high percentage of people
who get their vocabulary through text, and may not know the
pronunciation of some words they use regularly...
