I just received email asking for clarification on one of my FAQs. Not the
large gaming one, nor the miniatures painting one, but the 80-line mini-FAQ
I put out erratically on .signature files. The questioner found the FAQ not
online, either, but in the June issue of Internet World magazine.

This was the first I'd known it was published.

I'm ecstatic, actually. Not in the slightest upset that nobody asked or
informed me, because the short FAQ was put together exclusively to help
new users with their .signatures. I'd just like to know if anyone else
has ever had this happen with this magazine, and if they respond favourably
to requests for a copy of the issue in which a person's material was
published (note the date, the July/August issue has been out for _weeks_
and nobody has a June issue anymore).

I'll not listen to anyone yelping that my copyright has been infringed -
that's not the purpose of the short FAQ. If some .sig overusers see it
in the magazine and learn better .signature usage, then the FAQ is doing
precisely what it was intended for. This post isn't a complaint in any
fashion. I just want to know if I'll get my copy.

- Britt
