(I'm sorry if you're seeing this message for the second time. We had
some "interesting" problems with the faq-maintainers list yesterday,
caused by the software that handles our mail aliases, so it's not
clear to us who saw this and who didn't. It's possible that everybody
got it, but just in case, I'm sending it again, because it's important
that everybody sees it.)

The members of the faq-maintainers@mit.edu and
faq-maintainers-announce@mit.edu mailing lists are hereby notified
that any messages sent to these lists from now on may be made
accessible in a public archive.

The archive will be located (after I finish setting it up) in
ftp://rtfm.mit.edu:/pub/faq-maintainers.

Only messages sent to the lists after this one will be archived; we
are not making old archives of the mailing lists publicly available
because we feel that it would be rude to do so when people were not
informed that their messages might be put into a public archive.
However, we may be willling to search through the old archives if
someone needs to find something in particular there.
