They _do_ honor you Supercedes line. Everytime they prepare a new
batch of articles from news.answers, they use the current version.
The people they ship it to may not bother getting updates, but that's
true for any newsfeed.

If you're really worried about this, you should be pushing on them to
1) come out with the CDROM more often, and 2) make it one of their
subscription CDROMs.
