Actually, Tina, I am at this very moment pitching one of my FAQ's
to a magazine publisher in an attempt to convince them to pay me $$
to run it as an article. (And yes, I will make sure that if this
happens that the numerous contributors are not left out in the cold.)
Anyway, it will become very difficult for me in these negotiations if
it is shown that other publishers have reproduced my copyrighted work
without paying for it...

I don't think I'm alone in this. As the number of Internet-savvy
publications grows, more of us will be asked to publish our work.

BTW, please don't be tempted to jump to the hasty conclusion that
I'm only interested in this issue because of the $$ involved;
the record (i.e. archives of this list and others) will show that
I've been worried about it for a long time.
