HTMLizing a FAQ

Several months ago, we had a long fight about HTMLizing FAQs, with some
WWW diehards insisting that all FAQs should be put in HTML format by
default. I ignored it because at the time, I had access to only a
vt100-format PC, and knew nothing of this WWW and Mosaic and crapola.

Now I have access to X-Windows and Mosaic and stuff and have my own home
page and whee, that and $.50 will get me a cup of coffee.

What I'm wondering is, what did people mean by HTMLizing a FAQ? If you
put HTML code in a FAQ, it'll be there, looking ugly, when you post it.

Or did the people mean, "go on posting your ASCII FAQ to news.answers,
but put an HTMLized version up on the WWW somewhere?"
