I would be willing to maintain my FAQ in some kind of structure
and run a generic2html and a generic2ascii program so-as to
generate the postable FAQ and the HTTP'able FAQ.

Does anyone have something like this already?

I use a similar system for a different project, but it doesn't
apply well to FAQs. (I maintain a database of events in the
area and from the database I generate an HTML version an a postable
version).
