I get about one mail message a week about my FAQs. However, the
message is generally of the form "No sir, I didn't like it" or "Joy, joy!".
Constructive criticism is rare; about one such comment every few
months.

Generally I have to prod people into making constructive comments by
posting articles asking about changes I'm considering. I also
sometimes pick up comments about the FAQ in completely unrelated
threads; it's probably worth grepping for "FAQ" in whatever newsgroup
you cover, or at least auto-selecting on Subject lines containing "FAQ".
