Now, then: There has already been one incoming request to
faq-maintainers-request to unsubscribe from this mailing list because
of the extensive traffic on this thread. I suggest that:
* Those of you who wish to "complain" to Walnut Creek, please do
so in private email and do not cc to the mailing list. I think
other members of the mailing list have been amply informed that
there is a vocal subset of the FAQ maintainers who are represented
on this mailing list who are upset at Walnut Creek.
* Those of you who wish to debate about the fine points of the
copyright law, please start off by reading the Copyright FAQ,
available in rtfm.mit.edu:/pub/usenet/news.answers/law/Copyright-FAQ
in 6 parts via anonymous FTP.
* As on any mailing list, read carefully what others have just said
on this thread before blasting off your own replies.
--- Yours in Leadership, Friendship, and Service, Ping Huang (INTERNET: pshuang@mit.edu), probably speaking for himselfP.S. Anyone who is seriously interested in compiling an faq-maintainers FAQ is welcome to contact the list maintainers at faq-maintainers-request@mit.edu. We're a little too busy dealing with *.answers moderation for the most part to be able to write one, but we can find time to help point you in some good directions, I think.
