This information is presented for the sake of completion and historical accuracy. Don't use the <BASEFONT ...> tag. It will make your life difficult. FACE sets the default font face for the page. The value for FACE works the same as for <FONT FACE="...">. Only MSIE recognizes <BASEFONT FACE="...">.
