At tbe US Intelligence Board (USIB) meethis morning, Acting Chairman General Carter called attention to Attorney Donovan's attompt3 to secure the release of Americans vho are being held prisoner by Castro, and the fact that Castro has refused ta releaso other than the two womon prisoners because he claims be has not received tbe drugs and supplies which this country promised-in exchange for the Cuban invasion prisoners released some months apjo.

Carter saidheck had been made as to thc truth of Castro's statement, and it had boon determined that onlyf the promised supplies and drugs had been delivered to Castro; that the delay was attributable to two factors, namely thc shipping strike, and the fact that no ono person or agency in government was responsible for pushing the delivery of these supplies. Carter stated that the Attorney Goner, vas veryf_yor this delawand so vas Director McCone of CIA-fJ^Ho said that Th"range-ments have been made to BtfS shipping available to get the remaindor of these supplies over to Cuba.
