In light of yesterday's discussion at the ICG meeting regarding the Bella Abrughought it sight be helpfulentopy of the memorandum we propared lest September regarding the House Select Committee.
you will recall, the President directed the Community not to provide classified information to the House Select Committee until it "satisfactorily alters its position" with respect to the manner in which classified information would be made public. It appears that the issue is the tame as the one that faces the Executive Branch with respect to Ms. Abiug's hearings. In thatirect your attention to that portion of the memorandum beginning at pageith the admonition that those who do not learn from history will be doomed to repeat it.
