PORTUGAL

Portuguese army chief Antonio Raraalho Eanes won a

landslide victory over hie three opponents in the presidential election yesterday. There will be no needun-off election.

mm%% Eanes won more thanercent of the vote. Far left candidate Otelo de Carvalho placed second with aboutercent and Prime Minister Aievedo received someercent. Communist Party candidate Octavio Pato was fourthercent.
