"6. Guatemala.

The atatus report had an item stating that "the new Under Secretary of Foreign Relations for Guatemala has asked whether shipping facilities exist. to USSR for the purpose of sending Communist and Moscow agents to the Soviet." The DCI mentioned this item mnd said thai ifisposal is feasible and the onlywas how to finance the transportation, he would be prepared lo finance it. Apparently the matter was reportedable from the Ambassador in Guatemala to the State Department. Some doubt wa8 cxprrHKcd a* to whethereal Could be worked out.
