This organization has become nothing but an opportunity for adults to show their authority over children. When a child brings in a project that is the same basic format as they did the year before but the person taking the entries is so power hungry and illiterate that they don't know the definition of duplicate vs multiple and rejects this child's entry I have a problem with that. Not to mention you argued with this illiterate person long enough that you missed getting the rest of your entry's in is preposterous. Then the child spends 18 months putting in long hours to train and get an animal to respond well enough show and they can lead that animal then to be turned away and told they can not show because the animal did not make weight. Where did that help their development. You just basically told them that all of their hard work was not worth as much as their friends who had their parents raise their animal for them and got to show. This was a ridiculous was of my daughters time and a few others that were in her class i hope they all go to other county's next year.
