This is the best alternative to Microsoft Office, especially since OpenOffice.org is opensource (thus free). Version 3 is now sophisticated enough to really make it a valuable program and can do everything really necessary. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but who wants all that extra clutter anyway.

This is my email application, which is built into Mac OS X. It isn't sophisticated, but it works well with some of the other applications on Mac OS and isn't too complicated.

KeyManager is a simple program that will help you maintain a list of passwords. It itself is password protected. This is great for some of those websites you don't use so often as others.
