The second try proved to work out ok - the elephants acted sluggish, rocked back and forth, and made some strange vocalizations such as chirping and squeaking, but within a few hours they were back to normal. Wonder if they were seeing little blue men running around their stable?

Demikhov surgically created a two-headed dog by grafting the head, shoulders, and front legs of a puppy onto the neck of an adult German Shepherd. People around the world were grossed out as both heads lapped at bowls of milk, and then got even sicker when the milk from the puppy's head dribbled out the unconnected stump of its esophageal tube. Gross & of course bizarre!

According to the researcher, 2/3 of the subjects continued to administer deadly electrical shocks, even after hearing the test subject crying out in agony. With the simple words of "the experiment requires you to continue," they continued to push the shock button. Hmmm..... interesting ... and bizarre.
