On January 16, 2013, Lightstone Value Plus Real Estate Investment Trust II, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce the restructuring of the first mortgage held by the Company secured by the 141-room Marriott Fairfield Inn East Rutherford Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The restructuring resulted in the Company gaining control of the title and operations of the property. A copy of such press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
