On January 16, 2013, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the underwriters of its previously announced public offering of common stock exercised their option to purchase an additional 1,200,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price of $20.13 per share. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
