Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 17, 2012, the Board of Directors of MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. (the"Company") declared a cash dividend of $0.085 per share payable on March 15, 2012 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 1, 2012. This represents a $0.025 increase over the dividend paid during the prior two quarters of 2011. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
