Citizens & Northern Corporation announced unaudited, consolidated financial results for the three-month and nine-month periods ended September 30, 2011. On October 14, 2011, Citizens & Northern Corporation issued a press release titled “C&N Announces Third Quarter 2011 Unaudited Financial Results,” a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference. Citizens & Northern Corporation’s “Quarterly Report,” a report that includes unaudited financial information, will be mailed to shareholders on or about October 21, 2011.
