On January 21, 2010, OMNI Energy Services Corp. (the “Company”) announced that it has successfully executed a cleaning operation in an active production environment with its I.M.P.A.C.T.TM automated cleaning unit on an offshore production platform in the Gulf of Mexico for its first commercial client, Stone Energy Corp.
A copy of the press release announcing the installation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The press release should be read in conjunction with the note regarding forward-looking statements, which is included in the text of the press release.
