RE: The tariff classification of Krytox Products (General Purpose Lubricants) from Spain, Japan and Australia.

Dear Ms. Blevins:

In your letter dated May 2, 1994, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

Krytox general purpose fluorinated lubricants are a series of fluorinated oils and greases intended for use in applications where high-temperature resistance, nonflammability, or nonreactivity with aggressive chemicals is required. They are used in the aerospace,electronics, and other high tech industries.

The Krytox Lubricants are classified as follows:
