Whirlpool Gold Dryer Model # GEQ9800PW1

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

Our whirlpool gold dryer is the best dryer I have ever used. I love an AccuDry sensor that has a Jeans, very dry, and towels setting. You just have to turn the knob to this setting and the dryer only runs until the cloths are dry. This really saves money because the dryer is not running on a 45 min cycle if it only needs 20 min. This dryer has 5 temperature settings ranging from extra low/ delicate to High/ heavy. I usually set the dryer on the low temperature setting and then turn the AccuDry sensor setting to towels for a normal size load of laundry. Using this setting gets them dry in what I consider a short time (I use to dry the cloths on the line or at the Laundromat) and uses less energy.

When I wash our big king comforter I will use the high temperature setting and the jeans AccuDry setting and between the two the comforter comes out dry. When I use to take it to the Laundromat to dry it I would be there over an hour and the comforter would still be a little damp and need to be hung to finish drying when I got it home. The wrinkle setting is amazing. You can use it when you are drying the cloths normally and your cloths will come out with fewer wrinkles. I like to use it when I am in a hurry. I spray a little water on my shirt or pants and toss it in the dryer on this setting for about 5-10 minuets and they come out wrinkle free and they are nice and warm when I out them on.

I would definitely recommend this dryer. I think it is a great machine and in the long run it will save you money so it is worth the money we spent on it.
