The Wagner Power Painter with the Optimus Dual Tip technology, and the other options like the power roller make the ultimate addition to any home owners list of must have tools for painting interior rooms, ceilings, exterior walls, eves and even staining your deck.
The Wagner Power Painter Plus has the Optimus dual Tip technology provides better coverage with less over spray. With the wide spray pattern of the dual tips your coverage pattern is so large that it cuts your time with the power painter almost in half. The coverage area is so large and uniform it makes it very easy to get good coverage and fewer "tiger stripes" ( you know the light and dark patterns of paint you get with inferior paint sprayers).
The Wagoner Power Painter on its lower speed it works well. The coverage is not as quick, but for trim it is ideal. You can paint small areas without having to mask the whole area off, you only need to cover about one foot on either side and on top, on the bottom you need to cover about three feet and have a drop cloth for the floor.
The Wagoner Power Painter comes with a 1 quart paint container, but there are many options, from a power roller to larger tanks for very large areas. I have used a siphon feed on a five gallon paint can, but I would not advise this, that five gallon paint can is heavy, but if you have somebody to move the paint can for you it works well.
The Wagoner Power Roller is a very good attachment to get for the power painter, especially if you ceilings to paint. The power roller is so good for painting ceilings, due to not having to dip your roller in the paint tray, there is a lot less dripping on your floor covering this makes the chance of having a mess on your tile or carpeting very remote. Also since you keep the roller against the ceiling not raising it up and down it cuts your paint time in half.
The Wagoner Power Painter is the only power sprayer that I would buy, it is a bit tricky to keep clean but that is the same with any paint gun. I think that it is the easiest power painter to use and maintain on the market. The folks at Wagner have done their homework in designing this paint sprayer. The power painter is a must for anyone with a paint or stain job to do.
