I needed a carpet cleaner and steamer but I should've checked consumer reviews before purchasing the first one I saw. I grabbed the Wagner 905 1500-Watt-on-Demand Power Steamer and Cleaner because I was in the market for a carpet cleaner and the Wagner was on sale. The cleaning job I had in mind was for steam cleaning upholstery and carpet.

The product isn't heavy so it's easy to use, so that's a plus. In comparison to other steam cleaners on the market, it's cheap and reasonably priced. However, this product failed miserably in the original jobs I wanted performed. This steamer is not recommended for upholstery and carpet cleaning because it just doesn't clean well.

On the flip side, the product is excellent for removing wallpaper. No need for scrubbing or peeling. The Wagner Power Steamer saves a lot of time and is the only product I'd actually recommend for a wallpaper job. The steamer is sold with a wallpaper steam plate which allows for quick wallpaper removal without making a mess.

I loved the cleaning attachments. The product comes with a floor cleaner attachment and window squeegee perfect for cleaning tile and laminate floors.

The product wasn't purchased for everyday cleaning, but that's where this steamer has proven efficient and at around eighty dollars, I feel like the Wagner steamer is a good value. We clean our ceiling fans, behind the washer and dryer, and other hard to reach areas because of the flexible steam hose attachment.

Since the water tank is small, this product is recommended for normal house cleaning rather than industrial steam cleaning. I'd miss using this steamer if I didn't have it for simple weekly tasks. However, I don't think this particular power steamer should be sold as a cleaner for carpet and upholstery. It's not tough enough for the gritty jobs.
