Our 1993 Ford Ranger has an automatic transmission; it has over drive, a 3 liter v6 engine, horse power, anti theft ignition, and a passenger airbag. It is the basic model so there are no nice extras like power windows, cruise control, or heated seats. The basic model is all we really needed since we only use it for things in our local area. This truck is a very smooth running truck; it has a small enough engine that we get great gas millage for a truck.

The Ford Ranger is a good for light duty work and hauling small things. You can haul a small to medium size boat, or a small camper trailer. We mainly use it for house hold and community projects. We recently loaded gravel into the bed to take home and fill fence post holes with. In my opinion this truck did an amazing job for having such a heavy load in the bed. The anti theft ignition is great. The truck will not start if the key being used does not have the microchip so know one can make a copy of the key and use it.

The cab of the truck is small so it has very limited passenger space. There are only two of us in the family so it is ideal for us. If you have more than two people that need to ride in it then this might not be the truck for you. Also if you need a work truck I would not recommend the ford Ranger truck. It is too small for large loads or for pulling heavy things. Over all I am very happy with our Ford Ranger. We like being able to carry the materials we need for the projects around the house and not have to pay for delivery.
