The Kitchen Aid Architect Series Trash Compactor

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Kitchen Aid Architect Series II 1.4 Cu. Ft trash compactor is a well built implement that differs from other compactors of the same range such as the Whirlpool-Gold in that it is intended for installation. It has drawers that open completely differently and has side releases and a trash bag that also features bag retainer clips and buttons. You will also enjoy the Kitchen Aid's added functionality of a charcoal filter as well as filter that takes care of odor control so no one will even realize it exists in the first place.

The Kitchen Aid Architect series of compactors has an extremely hardy makeup in the compaction fixture. Depending on the type of trash you want to compact, it has a large space and with its additional all steel construction that is welded and an interior compartment that is zinc coated you have a machine that gives you real value for your money. The trash compactor is usually black in color and has a front panel that has an attractive black accent which is not such a big deal anyway. The strength and reliability gives it a big plus because it scores highly where others fail terrible.

The average price of the Kitchen Aid Compactor series is $630 in many outlets and it features a 1/3 HP motor with 5:1 compaction ratio which helps it reduce your trash by a whopping 80%. Other important features include a drawer open pane, bag retainer buttons, charcoal filter and an odor control fixture, and a Whisper Quite Plus feature as well as a unique under counter design. You choose the Kitchen Aid Compactor series if matching your appliances with the rest of the kitchen is not a big deal to you since there is only one color - black.
