This is a heavy duty, durable mixer. It has a (die-cast) metal body with rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. It comes with a stainless steel mixing bowl that holds 4.5 quarts, has 12 variable speed settings, one set of stainless steel V-Groove Beaters, and one set of stainless steel Dough Hooks.
The head of the mixer will tilt back and lock into place and the Turntable will adjust for a smaller bowl. The head of the mixer and beaters are offset from the center to make it easier to add ingredients while you're mixing.
This also has a variable bowl speed that is linked with the mixer speed, as the mixer speeds up, so does the bowl and when it slows down, the bowl slows also.
The eject button is located on the top of the handle; when pushed, it releases the attachments.
The speed selector is located on the back end of the mixer, it is easy to turn, and clicks into place.
The motor is amazing. It will mix thick ingredients like heavy dough and not bog down or loose speed at all.
You cannot submerge the mixer in water to clean it; you have to wipe it down with a soapy dishcloth and then dry it.
It is dependable and tough. It can be a little awkward to handle because of its size, but its size is also, what makes it so durable.
The price is reasonable compared to other brands with similar features and attributes.
