The LC52LE820UN television set from Sharp cost about $2700 when it was bought. This is about two hundred dollars more than that of other sets on the market. However, the features that can be found with this set truly made it one that was worth the purchase.
The fact that this set was able to get more colors produced was very helpful. The LC52LE820UN can work with yellow colors along with the red, green and blue colors that a typical television set is able to work with. This helped to create the most realistic colors possible for the set.
Another great part of the set was its resolution. The box for the set says that it has eight million dots on its 1920x1080 image. It was next to impossible to try and figure out how many dots were on the set because of how small they were when viewing the set up close.
The brightness of the set proved to be very beneficial. The set works with a lighting level of 450cd per square meter. This made it so the picture on the set was visible in a number of different lighting situations.
This was especially helpful because of how the contrast level on the set is one of the highest levels on the market. The ratio for this set is five million to one. This means that the set was able to work with getting all sorts of different colors to be displayed from a variety of extremes.
Getting all of the important things attached to the set was very easy to do. The LC52LE820UN can handle four HDMI ports, two RCA audio inputs, one each for left and right, an Ethernet input, an HD component input and a composite video input.
The Ethernet input proved to be successful for the Aquos Net feature on the set. It was very easy to access the Netflix account for the testing area through this feature on the set. The playback proved to be great as well in that the set can handle a 1080p connection even when it is over the Internet.
The price for the LC52LE820UN is a little higher than that of some other comparable sets on the market. However, the fact that this set was able to work with some of the best pictures and functions out there make this part of the set one that is truly worth it.
