The Paslode Framing Nailer is a cordless framing nailer with the power enough to drive 3.25" nails and only weighs 7 pounds. This framing nailer was designed with the contractor in mind, but it works just as well for the guy who wants to do it himself. It is a light weight powerful nail gun that deserves a place in anybody's tool arsenal. It comes with the following items in the box are: Nailer, case, battery, fuel cell, safety glasses and operating manual.
Paslode has made quite a few improvements over the early models of this framing nailer, it is 5 times faster than the earlier models, The newer design will go to 50,000 shots before you will need to clean it. The easy push down noise does not stick, so it will not fire unless the nose is pressed down , there is no chance of firing unless it is pressed against the construction material. It has a compact design it is only 12" long and weighs just over 7 pounds loaded with fuel and nails. It has a tool free depth adjustment and a 2 position belt hook.
This unusual framing nailer uses fuel cell technology to create the 6 volts needed to operate. You can load the fuel cell by it self or by the fuel cell and nail combo packs. Nails are fed from a strip and can be of three gauges .113, .120 & .131. You can use nails from 2" to 3.25 inches, they come in a fuel and nail combo pack so you never run out of the fuel cell while you still have nails left. They come in packs of 1250 nails.
I built a 30' X 60' garage using this framing nailer and never had a problem with it, the 7 pounds does get a bit heavy when holding it over your head but it is so much easier, safer and quicker than the hammer and nails. My thumb thanks Paslode for building such a great affordable tool. This a great tool for light framing, I do not think that I would use it for framing a house. When you do not have a large enough job to drag out the air compressor, hoses and heavy duty framing nailer this one is the answer to your needs. With the addition of the non stick nose safety, the fuel cells and the light weight Paslode has designed the perfect nailer for the do it yourself person.
