Elliptical machines burn a lot of calories, so when I decided to start my weight loss journey, I chose to purchase the NordicTrack Elliptical Trainer. I had previously used one at the gym, but was afraid that when I purchased one at the store that I would not be able to afford the same kind of quality but I was wrong. I LOVED it! It was easy to ride and offered enough choice to allow me the option to ramp up my workouts as I grew stronger with the incline and resistance settings. Some that I tried out at the store were jerky, but this NordicTrack trainer offered a smooth and fluid movement. When we receive it, I was worried about putting it together, but it was easy to put together, which is great for me and my husband, as we are not very handy. It is sturdy and heavy to move, but that is a good thing when you are talking about an exercise machine that you are going to be working out on five or six days a week. I love the fact that it is a space saver, which means that it can be easily stored away in my home, which is a great benefit as well. The only change that I would make is in the program selections. They offer some great programs, but there are no programs over thirty minutes and there are times when I would like to exercise for longer. As far as quality, I cannot rate this elliptical trainer higher. It has held up well for almost a year and we have been very happy with the way that it still works. In all, I am very happy with my purchase and feel that the NordicTrack name has been upheld by this product.
