The Minden Master Grill is a basic outdoor grill, that has seemed to meet my needs very well thus far. I am not someone who grills often, but when I do, I want to be able to do so with no fuss and no muss. If you're looking at the Minden Master grill, currently you have only got one grill to choose from. I was surprised to see that the inside of the grill is not stainless steel, and I can already see that there is a lot of rust there.
I do not expect to be able to use this somewhat expensive grill for more than another summer or two, max. I have not experienced any problems yet, but I expect to. However, I think that when a grill is as expensive as this one is, that it should not be expected to rust within six months. It does cook very evenly, and I have loved the food that comes from this grill.
For someone who grills often, I can see this grill not being suitable. Since I only grill on occasion I may be able to get the use I need out of it but he rust concerns me. Maybe I am supposed to treat it with something to prevent rust but for the price I shouldn't have to worry about rust.
However there were some good things to say about this grill. I appreciated how easy it was to put together, and when I needed to contact customer service, I was happy to see that they were very quick to answer my questions. I bought this grill when it came with a rebate, and they were very quick to process it. I give it 3.5 stars, mainly because the issue with the obvious rust worries me a lot.
