The first surprise about this blender is its affordable price compared to other brands with similar functionalities. As a family, we regularly liquefy most of our vegetables and fruits for sauces, soups and smoothies. Its processing power of 500W certainly exceeds the price label value and it successfully grinds tougher to blend foods such as medium hard beans and corn.

Got the blender over a year now and despite using it frequently, it's still working very fine. It has quite a large jug capacity of 1.6 litres which is more than enough for a good size mixture. The top cover is also a measuring cup and it's great when a certain amount of liquid needs to be added to a mixture while blending.

It has a 5 speed setting which includes pulsed operation where you can preselect to blend for short periods, repeatedly. It can be good when making a wet-dry mixture such as guacamole where you may not want to add water but expect the juices from the vegetables to make the sauce more paste like.

The stainless steel machine makes it easy to wipe and clean in case of spillage but you shouldn't have any spillages as it won't start unless it's properly covered or auto shuts off if lid is lifted while at work which is a good safety feature. It is also very easy to clean the jug by filling with water and setting blender to clean or you can simply put it into the dishwasher. It also has a non slip feet which is very steady when blending bulky foods as supposed to having a running blender which I've had in the past and always had to hold tight while blending.

It is also a nice addition to the kitchen; looks elegant and more expensive than it really is. A good buy for all domestic cooking, will recommend it.
