Lasko Remote Control Ceramic Tower Heater with Digital Display

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

My bedroom is in a basement that is not heated and I live in upstate New York. Needless to say, the winter months are frigid and having no heat is unbearable. I wanted to keep warm without spending a ton of money so I found the Lasko tower heater at Home Depot and it was only $45 and had some great features so I bought it. I could not be happier with this purchase.

It is a tower, so it can be stood up wherever you need it without it taking up much space, it is super light weight so it is easy to move, and it is very quiet. My favorite thing about it is that it has a thermostat function so it automatically kicks on when the room temperature is below a certain point. Of course, it can also be set to low or high heat if needed. It comes with a remote so if I am cold I do not have to get out from under my blankets to turn it on. It stays cool to the touch so if I do want to move it I can without burning myself.

The only very small complain I have is that it could oscillate a little further, but that really is not a big deal. It is not made to heat a large space, as it is just a little thing, so I would not try to use it to heat a whole large room, but for my bedroom it works perfectly. I just keep it at the end of my bed and have a very toasty nights sleep.

You really can't get a better deal or more bang for your buck in this department. I am totally happy with this purchase and have recommended it to many people. There are so many space heaters on the market and I think I definitely chose the right one. I am considering buying a couple more of them.
