The Lasko ceramic heater is a little wonder machine. I bought it for one of the basement bedrooms and it has proven to work very well. It is very effective for warming small areas. In the winter the basement is chilly but in the summer we use the central air all day long and this makes the basement feel like it is below zero. This heater is perfect for small rooms such as a bedroom or office. It is very compact so it can easily be moved from one room to another although it does not work very well at heating large areas such as a family room. The Lasko space heater has a built in fan made to distribute warm air as evenly as possible through out the room and has two power settings to use depending on how cold the room is and how warm you want it to be. This heater heats a small room so effectively and quickly even on low, that I usually end up turning it off before I am ready to leave the room. In fact, it almost makes me too warm. The only thing I do not like it how noisy it is. I have heard worse but I do wish it was a little quieter. When I bought this heater I was looking at one with digital display but it was quite a bit more expensive so I settled with the Lasko space heater without the display and am quite happy with it. It was the best one within my budget. I like this space heater so much I am planning on buying one for the upstairs as it gets cold in the winter and one more for the basement to put in another room.I would recommend this product for those who are looking for quality. There are not a lot of extra features on this heater but it works great just the way it is.
