Kubota Tractor

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

When looking for the best name in the tractor industry that has strength in performance, reliability and durability then you need look no further than Kubota. The Kubota family does well in cutting, mulching, side-charging, bagging and handling with so much ease. The 2004 B7800 in one of Kubota's deluxe economy versions that makes it maintain its position as a cheaper version that leaves out some features that are not extremely necessary. This makes Kubota a darling of tractor owners who have a tight budget. The downside of the B7800 however are the headlights that look like sealed beam lights which have a rather low wattage making it slightly weak.

The fewer features of the Kubota B7800 is rated an economy tractor which compares with the New Holland "D" series as well as the John Deere 4XXX series. It has a sizeable bucket that as well as grill guard with a loader joystick and a steering column that is high enough making visibility a wide and pleasant one for the operator. The B7800 is finished stylishly with a sports hood cover made of fiberglass. With the fiberglass hood helps it take on moisture better than steel and it also does not chip easily and can be formed to make for better visibility especially when mowing a lawn.

The only disadvantage of the fiberglass hood is that when hit by rock it fractures or crack as opposed to steel that would have had a dent that can be straightened up. The hood itself is flat with a fuel filter cap being positioned strategically just below the loader cross bar. With the B7800 you need to use a can with a spout when trying to fill your tractor with fuel more easily. The Kubota B7800 is a 30Hp light tractor with the usual reliability and is very low priced. Apart from the weak headlights, this is a tractor that is highly recommended
