Kitchen Aid 9 cup chrome food processor KFP740

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

I received the Kitchen Aid 9 cup chrome food processor as a house warming gift a year ago and have had no problems with it so far. It is an eye pleasing item that matches the rest of my kitchen so it looks great sitting on my counter top. It comes with a 9 cup bowl for the larger jobs and a 4 cup mini bowl for the smaller jobs. The larger bowl works great for jobs such as pureeing big batches of baby food for the freezer so you always have them on hand. The smaller bowl works great for whipping up a quick mixed fruit salad for the kids. Included with the machine are a slicing disc and a shredding disc that are easily interchangeable. This product comes with a one year replacement warranty. Fortunately I have not had to use the warranty as the machine still works great. There are no leaks and besides the blades being a little dull, the machine performs as if brand new. Compared to my last food processor this one has a much larger feed tube which seems to cut preparation time down considerably.
The Kitchen Aid food processor has a reasonable noise level. It may not be whisper quiet but it is not overly loud either. The touch pad make clean up easy as you do not have to try to scrub in between button like you would on the older models. I use this product quite often and I am very happy with the lasting durability. I only wish it was easier to find replacement blades.
The Kitchen Aid processor is a must have for quick and easy snacks or large batches for family feasts or the freezer. It looks great and is very durable. I would recommend this product especially to those with small children who are looking for something to help them create simple yet healthy options for snacks and baby food.
