Kinetic Road Machine Fluid Bike Trainer

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

Let's chit-chat about bike training machines. I have just the one for you. The Kinetic Road Machine Rear Wheel Trainer. It features: Smooth quiet resistance from 5-3000 watts 6.25 lb. Freewheel for realistic coast down. Sealed fluid chamber with magnetically-coupled driveshaft. Guaranteed not to leak. Unconditional lifetime warranty on frame and resistance.

Also measurable and repeatable workload, patented sealed fluid chamber with magnetically coupled driveshaft. Thermodynamically stable, silicone resistance fluid, 15-second coast-down from 20 mph. 80 cooling fins to dissipate heat. Lowest operating temperature of any fluid trainer. Its price is $370.00. Weighing at 31 lbs.

Riding a bike vs. indoor simulation. There are many reasons why riding a simulated bike inside is just as good if you where riding a bike outside. Bike training machines in some studies have been known to give better resistance. Given the outdoor conditions, you may not get a good enough workout.

You have your rainy days, even when snow comes around, your exercise routine is put on hold. But not with indoor exercising equipment. Things like riding a bike, or going for a jog, isn't really considered an exercise anymore. Biking could be called a leisure or a mild form of a cardio. Indoor exercise things are more conditioned. Thus giving a better workout. You can set your own pace. Have someone there for you to help you spot. You can maximize your workout with even less effort.
Then you have safety. Many hazards are outside. A thunderstorm could come out of nowhere. Then you're stuck racing yourself back home. While inside, you don't have to worry about cars passing you up or anything like that. Try and not be biased about indoor exercise equipment, it's not a waste of money, just a better way to exercise.
