In-Ground Adjustable Basketball Hoop w/54in.Glass Backboard

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Our athletes in the house purchase the best products money can buy because while they play hard, they don't tend to work hard so they like to make their purchases and be done with it. Recently, my son purchased the in-ground adjustable basketball hoop with the glass backboard. He wanted the Silverback product because he'd heard the goal was a little easier to adjust.

The professional style and added features of this basketball goal and hoop add to the list of reasons we were sold on this unit. The two-piece pole component is a feature that is hardly noticeable but adds to the sturdiness of the goal and provides a sound base.

Players will enjoy a two-foot overhang on the backboard which not only reduces the annoying shake often found in residential basketball hoops but also increases the potential for rebound. Young players will play more basketball and spend less time chasing balls throughout the neighborhood.

Adjustment allows for goal height up to ten feet and the height is easily adjusted without wrist strain. Thanks to the protective resistant paint, rust is kept to a minimum, a notorious problem for some of these adjustable basketball hoops in the past.

The price is right at around six hundred dollars. There are so many comparable models on the market today that if I had the purchase to do over again, I might have shopped for a sale. While I don't think we'd find a better basketball hoop product, I believe there are some comparable models at a cheaper price that would've worked just as well. On the other hand, my son is happy with his purchase and he feels like he bought at a steal. He believes there isn't another product on the market in this class that will hold up as well over time.
