Image 15.5 S Treadmill

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Daily exercise is important to maintain a good health. My friend has a diabetes and hypertension so it is imperative for her to exercise daily to maintain her blood sugar and blood pressure. But she hates to exercise by herself so we always go for a walk together. However during winter she doesn't want to go out, our solution is to get a treadmill so we can still exercise indoors.
We saw the Image 15.5 S treadmill on sale for $350 and we both think it's a good price compared to other treadmills we looked at. My friend bought it and we set it up together. The equipment is a bit heavy so it took us more than 3 hours to put it together. From the time she bought the treadmill until now it is still functioning and we're exercising together.
The treadmill has a 2.5 HP motor a power incline up to 10 percent, a digital quick speed control up to 10 MPH, 4 preset weight loss programs and the MyTracks Step Counter that keeps track of the number of steps I take while working out and measure heart rate through the grip sensor. It has also a CoolAire work out fan and the non-slip tread belt measures 17" x 50."
I like all the features that come with the treadmill. It is advance most especially the EKG Pulse Sensor that measures heart rate and allows me to monitor my heart if I am going too fast and I need to slow down.
If I want to push harder on my exercise I just push the power incline button to feel as if I'm walking uphill and when I want to run I just increase my speed. However, it's hard to run fast on this treadmill because the running surface is too small. I just decided to run on a normal pace.
The treadmill can also be folded when it is not being used so it doesn't take so much space around the house. My friend loves her treadmill and instead of exercising only once when I'm around, she does it morning and afternoon. The treadmill really helped her maintain her blood sugar and blood pressure.
I would recommend this treadmill for beginners who just want to walk on the treadmill at a normal pace. But if you want to run fast and push yourself in working out, I suggest you get a treadmill with a larger surface to run.
