HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-in-One Printer

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

While I long ago gave up on HP computers, I must say that I'm still impressed by the quality of their printers, particularly their all-in-one units. The HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-in-One Printer is one such printer and it was the best they had on the shelves when I went to buy a new printer. I figured I might as well replace my ancient scanner while I was at it, so this HP all-in-pne was perfect for my needs. We also use a network in our home, so being able to print without wires from any of our laptops was a huge plus.

This printer also has a huge touch screen that allows you to doctor your image before printing directly on the printer. In other words, you can crop, color, and adjust brightness right there on the touch screen. It's pretty handy and I've used it more than once in our busy household. This thing is also probably the fastest printer/scanner I've ever used. I'm no expert, but this scanner is by far one of the most intuitive things I've ever used. I'm not afraid to admit that I've been frustrated by some software and hardware in the past, but using this thing is a breeze. It walks you right through everything - I've never even looked at the manual.

I paid full price for my unit ($400 at the time), but these days you can get them at much deeper discount and they are worth every penny. If you can find one to match your budget, I would highly recommend it. This printer/scanner is great for a modern household with a variety of needs. I give it 5 out of 5 stars because I've found it to be perfect for me.
