For those looking for an inexpensive blender that works well, the Wavestation by Hamilton Beach can do the trick. This is a great blender for under $25.

Consumers may be able to find this blender for under $20 if shopping around on the internet. This blender has a different look than many of the blenders people are used to seeing. It looks like a cross between a punch dispenser and a blender, and it operates like both.

The Hamilton Beach Blender has a dispense feature that makes it stand out. The user has the option between dispensing drinks through the dispenser spout at the front of the blender, or capping the dispenser and using the top of the blender the traditional way. This neat function gives the user various options.

The blender is equipped with 500 watts of power. This is slightly less than many other blenders but still good. Many blenders start at 700 watts and work up to horsepower. This does the trick for those using the blender for smoothies, beverages, and cooking. The blender has a revolutionary WaveAction blending system. What this does is forces the contents down the stainless steel blades so that the blender mixes from top to bottom. This is different from most blenders because many blend from the bottom, and users are usually forces to stop in the middle of blending to mix the contents that do not mix in thoroughly. A few times the blender leaves a few chunks of ice or solid foods behind. This small drawback is nothing to be too concerned about because this does not affect the quality of the contents of the blender.

The blender has an easy to use dial on the side. Instead of pressing several confusing buttons, consumers just turn a simple dial to blend and mix items. The blender is easy to use and extremely safe. Neither the pitcher nor the spout leaks no matter how much use it receives. The blender has a durable 48-ounce plastic pitcher, which is also dishwasher safe. The blades are made of patented stainless steel blades that are extremely powerful especially when chopping ice.

This is a great find for the price. The blender probably cannot stand heavy use since the watts that power the motor are less than traditional blenders in this same class. The blender does great with everyday use though. The blender is stylish and different from other blenders.
