The GE Quiet Power 3 dishwasher has four separate cycles, a delayed start option, an on/off heated dry option, rinse aid dispenser and removable silverware bins. The six cycles include a rinse, light wash, normal, heavy wash, a hot wash and a hot start. This dishwasher is an energy star appliance. I find the dishwasher to do its general job but any dishes that aren't pre rinsed don't always come out clean. The top rack always seems to have dirty glasses on the inside and the out almost like the water spinner is throwing up the food from the bottom wrack. The top rack does pull out rough, almost like it is catching on a bump in the track, but nothing is visible. The Quiet Power 3 isn't exactly quiet, I understand when you purchase an appliance that they are not going to be silent but I do expect a dishwasher that is named Quiet Power 3 to not be too loud and hard to talk over, especially when we are in the kitchen with company over. Sometimes you don't have the option to run it later when no one is around. I do love however the delayed start option all I do is fill the dishwasher, add my detergent, choose my cycle and push the delayed start for the time I want the dishwasher to start and the countdown "timer" starts this feature works great to schedule my run time during off peak hours it saves us on how much we spend on electricity and water. Every little bit helps! I have noticed recently an almost burning smell and some white paste like substance that is burnt on around the heat coils and on the coils I'm thinking it's the detergent , maybe it's not getting rinsed through properly and ending up in the drying cycle. I have just turned off the heated dry for now until we figure it out, at least it has that option. I guess you can say I wish we would have looked around a little more for a dishwasher, but hey it sure beats washing by hand.
