The Dewalt drill has adjustable torque and speed settings, This is so you can increase the torque when drilling or putting screws into hard woods and to decrease the torque and speed when doing delicate work. This makes all of your projects turn out better. This drill also has a key less chuck so all you need is your hands to change drill bits or drivers.
The compact driver delivers 1170 in/lbs of torque and 0-2400 RPM. This gives the Dewalt driver more than enough torque for any job you have. This driver does a much better job for putting in screws than a drill with a bit adapter. It is a must have for the do it yourself or the professional. I used it to install a metal roof on my new shop and it cut down the installation time considerably. There is not a more important tool to get the jog done right and in a timely manner.

The battery for this combo set is a very good long lasting battery it has enough strength to do what you need without running out of power. I have used the drill and driver all day and never ran out of power, now the reciprocating saw requires a bit more power.
