The Delonghi Espresso Machine was surprisingly cheap for the great quality it offers. I looked at many espresso machines before settling on the Delonghi and it is definitely the best for cost and quality. The nice thing about this machine is that you do not have to use ESE pods. Regular ground coffee works great. It produces high quality taste and is much cheaper than going out for espresso. The Espresso machine has paid for itself probably five times over by now and it looks great sitting on my kitchen counter as it matchesthe over all décor. It takes up very little space and is very easy to clean. Other than espresso, this machine makes other great treats that the kids can join in on. My children love a yummy cup of steamed milk flavored with a bit of chocolate or strawberry syrup. Curling up on the couch with the kids before bed with a delicious cup of flavored steamed milk is a relaxing and memorable way to spend an evening. This works well for a family movie night or evening story time with the smaller children. I recommend this machine to espresso lovers who are tired of over spending at over priced coffee shops and to family oriented people who love to enjoy a nice treat with the kids. I only wish this machine could accommodate larger mugs. If you like a big cup rather than a treat sized cup you may want to spend a little more and purchase a larger machine to fit a larger cup. Of course a larger machine is sort of bulky and takes up a lot more counter space. The Delonghi Espresso Machine works great for my family and is the perfect size for our kitchen.
