If you not planning an industrial sized baking, this mixer will be quite adequate. It is really cheap but surprisingly gets the job done. It is a stand and hand mixer so you have a choice on how you wish to mix. It mixing power settings are from 1-5 with 5 the fastest and also has a turbo button for super fast mixing. Setting up is quite easy and usage is really straight forward.

It has two sets of beaters; one for cakes and puddings and the other for bread. You will get great egg mixtures for making meringues, sponge cake, ice cream and other mixtures that need egg to be fully beaten for a good volume and fluffiness. The beaters can easily be ejected with an eject button to be cleaned. The beaters and bowl are also both dishwasher safe as well.

All the components of the mixer are white plastic apart from the beaters and although I do understand why most might prefer stainless steel, the plastic doesn't make it heavy and it can easily be carried around. It can be kept away in the cupboard and brought out when needed especially if you are not baking every day. It's also not too big and will only take up only a small space in the kitchen if you do choose to display it.

The only downside I found is that the mixing bowl is not very large and you may need to mix in two bits to get a certain mixture example, it will make a 12 slice cake comfortably. Alternatively, you may use a larger bowl by detaching the hand mixer and hold it over the bowl to mix the larger mixture. It is equally as effective and gives same results.

It's an all round a good mixer and does the job to satisfaction.
