Brunswick has been known for making quality billiard tables for years. Therefore, expectations were high when working with the company's Brae Loch table. Although this table is incredibly expensive it still works with a good amount of features that made this table enjoyable nonetheless.

The table is eight feet by four feet in size. This is a size that works with BCA standards. This added to the quality of the table. However, it can be a big challenge to get this type of table installed. This is due to how the table weighs nearly a thousand pounds. This made installing the table a real challenge to do. Having some help when getting this table set up is strongly recommended.

The slate that is used here was well handled. The use of this slate under the felt was beneficial because it worked with a flat surface that was properly honed. The table was flat enough to where it could work for practically any type of professional billiard competition event.

The legs on the table are ball and claw legs that feature standard designs. There is nothing special about the entire exterior design of the table. However, the fact that the table is in a nice chestnut finish helped. The fringe leather ball pockets were nice touches on the table as well.

When I got this table it cost about $3500 to get. This was a very high price but it is about on par with other types of pool tables on the market of the same type. It was at least offset by some of the things that it can with. A full set of billiard balls were included alongside four cues, a wood rack, a plastic brush and several pieces of pool chalk. These materials helped to get a good game started.
